Adopt-A-Stream
Georgia Adopt-A-Stream is a volunteer water quality monitoring project focused on increasing public awareness about pollution in Georgia's waterways, providing training for the public about monitoring water pollution, promoting cooperation between the public and government agencies that oversee water quality concerns for the state (Georgia Environmental Protection Division) and promoting collection of water quality data by the public.

The Broad River Watershed Association has participated in monitoring sites in the Broad River watershed. S-24 Bluestone Creek in Madison County, GA (monitored along with Madison County Middle School)
